Minnesota Native Plant Society A non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and appreciation of Minnesota’s native plants and plant communities through education and public awareness
New MNNPS Blog
Thanks to MNNPS member Katy Chayka, we have a new blog. This is where much of the dynamic content for the website is to be posted. For example, this may include current activities related to the Conservation Committee or blogs about recent field trips. Events, programs, workshops and volunteer opportunities offered by organizations other than the Society can be posted here as well. If you would like to see your organization's activity posted, please contact one of the Society's Board members.
MNNPS is now on Facebook
We can now be found on Facebook. This is the social networking site where users can create their own profile page, join networks of other users organized by interest and communicate in a variety of ways. To find the MNNPS Facebook page, go to www. facebook.com and log in. First time users will have t create an account. Type "Minnesota Native Plant Society" in the Search box and then click the "Become a fan" link.
New Board Members
Daniel Jones has recently joined the MNNPS Board. Ken Arndt has also reinstated his position on the Board. We welcome and thank them both for their dedication and support.
